Renal Artery Aneurysm Causing Symptomatic Hydronephrosis

Renal artery aneurysms occur in only up to 0.3% of the population [1]. They are usually an incidental finding but have been known to cause hypertension, pain, haematuria and hydronephrosis [1-3]. Dedicated CT angiography is needed to diagnose a renal artery aneurysm hence they are not always obvious on conventional CT.
