Climate change and gender: Women as powerful agents of change

The impacts of climate change are challenging the world and in particular are affecting the poorest countries, the most vulnerable ones, especially poor women. In 2015, the international community adopted two major agendas to fight climate change, the 2030 agenda for sustainable development adopted at the United Nations Sustainable Development Summit on 25 September 2015 and the Paris agreement, endorsed in December of the same year.
