Glucocorticoids (or, less usually, glucocorticosteroids) are a class
of corticosteroids, which are a class of steroid chemicals.
Glucocorticoids are corticosteroids that tight spot to the
glucocorticoid receptor that is available in pretty much every
vertebrate creature cell. The name "glucocorticoid" is a
portmanteau and is made from its job in guideline of glucose
digestion, amalgamation in the adrenal cortex, and its steroidal
construction.
